Which Tales book is your favorite?

AJFSOIAFJDSIZFHAOIHDFAWEUIH!!!!! I know I technically said Golden Daughter is my favorite book out of this series, but THIS IS STILL A CRUEL QUESTION, KENDRA!!! *grumbles incoherrently*

Who is your favorite character

*again* The audacity….I will say that I LOVE Aethelbald SO much… and once again will share my story of how one of my very rare book crushes was (of *course*) the Jesus figure. I’m hopeless…

Of course, I love Sairu and Earnin, too (who could resist that beautiful, blind, heartbreaking man?). And Starflower. And Rose Red. And – you get the point.

You’re making a Goldstone woods movie (your choice of which book it’s about). Who would you cast as the leads?

Hehehe….this is funny. You’re asking me about actors and stuff. I have no idea. Just a second….let me hunt down some actors or something…(never mind I forgot what they looked like, exactly).

(Also, I have made a small realization that Alastor (the dude who got kicked from the throne and married Sight-of-Day) had….red hair, right? And Daylily has red hair, too? Connections???)

Apparently her name is Emily Rudd. She *might* fit for Una with darker hair?

And I’ve given up. Except I can pretend that I won’t look for an Aethelbald rep because no face could capture his Christlikeness and amazingness?

If you could live anywhere in the world of Goldstone, where would you live?

*screeeechesss* That desert place the dragons lived in. 😛

Well….I mean, the Goldstone Wood seems nice. Sure it might be chaotic and could drive you mad, but what’s life without a little insanity? And even better when you follow the paths of the Prince!

You are a private detective. Which character would you want to be your sidekick?

Aethelbald…or would I be his sidekick?

No….wait, then, Earnin. Like, minions. That cat has excellent senses. He’s powerful even without his lovely eyes…

If Eanrin had to stay at your house for a week, what would it be like and what would you do first?

AHAHAHA….I’m dying at this question. XDD Well, if he had to stay at my house for a week, I’d probably pester him with enough questions to make him leave prematurely….such is the life of a fangirl.

Or, actually, I might just be really apathetic and lock myself up in my room. “Use the house as you please, kitty. Just don’t eat my birds.”

Who is your favorite couple?

I mean….who could combat the sheer power that is Earnin and Imraldera? Sairu and Jovan are a realllyyyyyy close second, though. :))

If you could hang out with one character for one day, who would it be and why?

Well, considering Earnin’s visit is separate and would still happen, I would reallyyyy want to meet Chronicler and laugh how that’s the pseudonym of one of my characters because I’m like that, okay? I assume his lovely wife would tag along, and….I mean…he’s such a cool character with a lot of scars and a lot of knowledge in his head.

Also, I DO want to meet Starflower and Aethelbald….but I’m hoping they’ll visit Earnin whilst he crashes at my place.

What Goldstone character do you wish you were more like?

Stop making me use Aethelbald as my every other answer…. I can’t help that Aethelbald is perfect! Who doesn’t want to be like him??

How has the allegorical messages in the books touched you or your life in some way?

So, I mean…it hasn’t made me sob my heart out or anything. But these books have been such a wonderful addition to my life. Not only have they just been SUCH a wonderful allegory of Christianity and the many journeys it can take, the characters and immersive setting have really made it such….magic.

We’ll never forget your work, Stengl! 🙂

NOW! I’m going to have to break rules because I don’t know four people who have read the Tales of Goldstone Wood.

I do know of bloggers that have read it, though (heh, sorry, sort of strangers…). CreativeOlivia is one of them (heyyyy, I know and talk to this person!), Christine is another (and I think? she’s been already tagged), and….*sobs* my knowledge of authors and/or bloggers who have read this series is pathetic.
